Error Logging is one of the key attributes when developing ASP.NET Web application. NLog is a great open-source logging tool that allows developers to easily and efficiently implement logging framework. In this post, I will show the steps needed to configure and use NLog in your MVC web application. Step 1: Installing NLog (NLog Config) NLog can be downloaded from  NuGet .  You can use the GUI or the following command in the Package Manager Console: PM> Install-Package NLog -Version 4.4 .1 That’s it, you can now compile and run your application and you will be able to use NLog. Step 2: Configuring NLog for C# (NLog web.config) In your web.config file add the following section under

Then add the following section under <nlog xmlns= “ http://www.nlog-project.org/sc

The JavaScript cropping plugin is returning the image as base64 text, this is fine as in Html we can bind an image to a base64 string by setting the “src” attribute. However, in my case I need to convert this base64 image to byte array to save the binary in the SQL database then create the physical file of the cropped image. You may ask why I need to convert the base64 image to byte array. I’m doing this for one simple reason, because the base64 image can be a large text in the Html which will increase the size of the page, as a result it can affect the page load time. Therefore, for better performance it is recommended to
